圣诞 (sheng dan) means Christmas. ‘Merry’, ‘Happiness’, ‘Happy’ or 快乐 (kuai le) in Chinese are also used in other best wishes phrases such as 生日快乐 （Happy Birthday） or 新年快乐 （Happy New Year）. Notice how the Chinese words arrangement differs from their English representations. The embroidery is in the more artistic calligraphic format written in simplified Chinese, commonly used in the PRC and Singapore. Hong Kong and Taiwan still used the traditional form.
